Resurfacing of the parks paths

Work complete on Centre path and Hindle Fold Lane access steps

3th June 2024 - work has started this week on resurfacing the centre path in the park.  New edging will be fitted and the area around the parks sensory garden included.

Also improvements to the access steps from Hindle Fold Lane are also underway..  This will include the addition of an extra step and provision for a handrail.   These changes will hopefully make access safer and easier for park users.

Also included in this phase of work are repairs to the uneven footpath caused by tree roots which runs across the top of the park and the path surrounding the parks sensory garden.
