Friends of Memorai Park were invited by the Great Harwood Civic Soc to particpate in their annual Charter Fair.  The Charter Fair originates back to when the Great Harwood became a market town.many years ago.

Our stall invited members of the public to imagine a visit to Blackpool and choose one of 60 attractions on offer..  Over 20 of the attractions had prizes attached to them and which had been  generously gifted by the groups supporters.  All participants were then entered into a draw with the opportunity to win a bottle of whisky, tin of chocholates or a bottle of wine.  The wining attraction was "North Peir"..  The mayor won the bottle of wine.  Thanks to eveyone who donated prizes or took part in the challenge.
